Heol-y-Cyw will prepare to take on Nantyffylon RFC, as they will look to get back to winning ways after last weekend's heartbreaking defeat to Skewen RFC. The Cyw will hit the road once again as they enter round three of the campaign. After two defeats, the sides will look to secure a league win. Nantyffylon will provide a tough test as they also look to get back to winning ways tomorrow. It has all the makings of a great game, as both sides will give it their all for victory.
Last time out
Last weekend, Heol-y-Cyw were on the hunt for redemption after a disappointing result to Builth Wells RFC two weeks prior. There was a real sense of excitement after a strong first-half display, which saw Lewis Gibson and Tyler Maidment power over the line for two well-earned scores. However, Skewen fought back throughout the second half. Ki Morgan secured himself a hat-trick, including a last-minute score where the winger went the length of the pitch to give his side the victory and break the home crowd's heart. Here is what Steve Roberts had to say on the contest.
“Despite the loss on Saturday, which was very hard to take due to it being in the last minute, I must applaud the decision on the pitch to go for a 4th try bonus point. Unfortunately, a penalty in the act of scoring that 4th try gave Skewen the chance for a quick tap penalty to run the entire length of the pitch.
“On another day we would have been celebrating a bonus point win. We are a new team with several debuts again this week, but we were agonisingly close. It just goes to show what the players are capable of, and we have plenty of positives to work with and areas to improve, so we go again.”
Heol-y-Cyw's attention will now turn to the Nantyffylon clash tomorrow.
Nantyfflon
Nantyffylon are a strong side capable of big results. Last weekend they suffered a 29-16 defeat to Builth Wells. A try from Lewis Francis and the boot of Elis Bird wasn't enough as Builth Wells secured their second win of the campaign. Last season, Nantyffylon finished sixth in the table with nine wins and nine defeats. They will look to improve on that this season, and kickstart their campaign with a win over Heol-y-Cyw.
Other fixtures

Neath Athletic will make the short trip to Aberavon Quins as they look to keep their momentum going, and Builth Wells will take on Aberavon Green Stars.
